Roxanne Zhilo is an associate in the Litigation Department. She devotes her practice to complex commercial and civil litigation matters, as well as to employment work.
Prior to joining Ansell Grimm & Aaron, Roxanne practiced law at a mid-sized firm where she handled matters in the areas of consumer fraud, employment discrimination, civil rights, contract matters, and personal injury. She worked closely with the firm’s partners investigating civil claims, conducting legal research, preparing discovery, and organizing evidence for trial.
Raised by parents who fled the former USSR to escape religious persecution, Roxanne knows the importance of giving back to her community. She participates in many charitable organizations and has sat on the board of several non-profit organizations. Roxanne has worked as a mentor for kids in elementary school through college. She has been involved with female advancement programs, as well as helped establish resources and dealt with access to justice issues for immigrants. Roxanne has also helped establish several music and art-based non-profits, both for students and young adults.
Roxanne earned her law degree at Villanova University School of Law. Before attending law school, Roxanne graduated cum laude from Temple University with a degree in Strategic and Organizational Communications. Concentrations in Public Relations and Rhetorical Studies helped her gain communication skills critical to her success as a litigator.
Roxanne is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is fluent in Russian.
